About Us
A Century of Craft. A Legacy of Trust.A Legacy Woven Since 1902
Shamika Heritage is built on over a century of trust, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality. What began in 1902 as a family effort of sourcing sarees directly from master weavers has grown into a legacy of preserving and celebrating India’s finest handloom traditions.
From sourcing the finest yarn and zari to working closely with skilled artisans, our journey has always been rooted in authenticity. Today, that legacy continues across generations, bringing heirloom silks to saree lovers in Bengaluru through our stores in Jayanagar and HSR Layout.

The Tradition Behind Every Saree
At Shamika Heritage, a saree is not just a garment — it is a process of dedication and artistry.
To ensure uncompromising quality, we source premium yarn and zari and supply them directly to master weavers. The weaving is carried out with precision, after which the sarees are brought back to us, ensuring every piece reflects the highest standards.
Over time, our family established its own handlooms, continuing the weaving tradition within the legacy itself. We constantly experiment with new colour combinations and design innovations while preserving age-old techniques.
We proudly patronize handloom communities across India, supporting artisans whose skills have been passed down for generations. Their craft, dedication, and livelihood are the heart of every saree we bring to you.
Our collection showcases over 50 variations of traditional weaves, including:
-
Pure Kanchipuram Silks
-
Paithani & Patola (Pochampalli)
-
Banarasi Silks
-
Mysore Crepe
-
Bandini dyed silks
-
Tissue and Georgette silks
-
Digital Kanjivarams and contemporary blends
Each saree carries the story of the artisan who wove it.
